First, wasps don't bite, they sting and inject venom; that's why it hurts so much.
Putting ice on the sting will help with swelling, but you want to wrap the ice because putting it on directly can damage your skin. Wasp venom is alkaline so a weak acid will help to neutralize it too, you can dab a little bit of vinegar on it.
The bee is probably not interested in you. Stay calm, either keep still or just walk away. Don't make sudden movements and above all don't start flapping at the bee with your hands to try to scare it away, that will make it more likely to sting.
If a bee comes close to you the first, and most important thing is: don't panic! Bees do not sting unless they feel under threat. Don't make sudden movements and, above all, don't try to swat it away -- that is threatening.
A bee may just be a little curious about you, but usually after a quick inspection it will lose interest and just fly away again. If a bee starts to bother you, or if you feel particularly nervous about it just walk away. It is unlikely to follow you very far.
when a wasps come near you, the best thing to do is stay still. do not panic and harm the wasp. as it will get annoyed and sting you.
Kill it with a fly swatter. If there is one it probably means there are more nearby. When you try killing it, put kids pets or other people in a room

Some fun bee puns are: O-bee Wan Kenobee Beauty is in the eye of the Bee-holder Bee-ware the ides of March To bee or not to bee
I turn my face in another direction and start walking slowly away. If the bee comes around I turn away each time. If the bee gets in my face, its usually just a carpenter bee, which likes to act aggressive when you're near its territory, but doesn't sting. You're right not to ever swat at them. That is just about the stupidest thing to do IMHO.
