硫黄島 or Iwo Jima (However, it should be properly transliterated from Japanese as "Iōjima") when translated literally means "Sulphur Island".

It's very interesting the first time you hear the proper pronunciation since we're accustomed to saying the 'w' when in actuality there is a long 'o' instead. As the previous poster wrote, it's said いおうじま ioujima。
