they were both very powerful "empires" in a way like rome had emperors and we have Presidents... and like we both have the senate, so America copied the government of ancient Rome,... i don't know any more use your own godamn head

Nothing. Were talking about totally different eras and societies.

The Roman senate was not an elected body and represented mainly the aristocracy and did not vote on bills. There was not a centralised government like a cabinet or administration with a president who heads the executive. There were five types of officers of state which carried out their executive functions independently within the remit of their office. They were all elected annually, except for the censors who were elected every 18 months. Bills were voted on directly by the people in the plebeian council.
