According to the original Hindu faith known as Sanatana Dharma, Brahman is the name given to that power that is beyond human comprehension. Brahman cannot be defined. Brahman is God. Brahman is the power that is birthless, that is deathless. Brahman is energy. It is the Soul, the Atman, the Spirit that is in you and me. Brahman is in every living creature. Brahman is also in every atom, every molecule of this universe. The original Hindu belief known as Sanatana Dharma believed in a formless, nameless God, a power, a Creator. But today's Hinduism has confused the concept of Brahman completely and made Brahman into one of the trinity or Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva which only confuses all Hindus.

BRAHMAN:

Brahman is considered to be the ultimate reality in Hinduism, which is formless, impersonal, infinite, all-pervading, without attributes and absolute. Also considered to be eternal, (supreme) consciousness and blissful.

Brahman is variously viewed by different Vedanta schools, a popular school being Advaita Vedanta which is a non-dualistic school of philosophy.

Saguna Brahman or Ishwara (God) is considered to be 'Brahman with attributes as viewed through Maya (illusion)', in Advaita.

Points from previous edits:

3. It is the very junction of science and religion

5. It is made of two basic elements common to all the activities of our life viz. facilitating force (Saguna Brahman) and retarding force (Nirguna Brahman).

6. All the Hindu gods and all the activities of our life are made of these two elements only

7. Anatomically, it is our skeletal muscular system and physiologically it is isometric contraction of our entire skeletal muscular system as a single unit. Thus, Saguna Brahman is isometric contraction and Nirguna Brahman is isometric relaxation

8. It is the one and only god that is 100% reliable. This is because it considers our entire life before any thought or action.

9. It is 100% efficient during activity and at rest. In all other gods the facilitating and retarding forces co-exist making both activity and rest inefficient

10. It can't be understood by an ordinary Hindu. This is because Brahman is the most holistic entity and, therefore, is beyond the comprehension of any human being. In marked contrast, an ordinary Hindu would just be moving on what he considers as the right path

11. It is not compatible with languages. This is because it is analog and modern languages are digital

12. It can't be understood in a step by step way and thus it has no beginning or end.

13. One can attain Moksha and understand Brahman through Original Meditation, a kind of meditation practiced during the Vedic period. This meditation is nothing but a set of isometric exercises.

Brahman is the formless supreme God in Hinduism / Sanatana Dharma.

Brahman is the source of consciousness. Brahman is beyond time, space, matter, energy, virtue, sin, happiness, misery and so on as all these are experienced within the realm of consciousness.

Brahman is described to be of the nature of Sathyam(Eternal Truth), Jnaanam (Knowledge) and Anantham(Infinite). Brahman is described as Sat-Chit-Anandam (Truth, Awareness and Bliss). And also Sathyam-Shivam-Sundaram(Truth, Goodness and Beauty).

And the holy trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are known to be his manifestation.

Ps: Brahman is different from Brahma.

Brahman refers to the state at which,

1. Our activities and rest are 100% efficient.

2. Our skeletal muscle tone is exactly 50%, both at rest and during activity, making it impossible for us to feel our body

3. Rest and activity become indistinguishable, giving us a feeling that life is indivisible. In the Brahman state we get things done and we don't do it our self

4. Thinking is abolished both at rest and during activity. Thinking is instinctive

5. The seven basic Hindu gods viz. Indra, Shakti, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Shani and Yama merge to form a single god.
