Not an answer, but mine did it to me this morning. It kept shutting off, then when I went to turn it off for good, the error code E0 was on the screen.
Now it is working fine...after leaving it off for a few minutes.
E2 is an Error Code shown on the LCD of the Haier window ac unit, E2 Error code means INDOOR COIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR FAILURE that means your ac will not show you the temperature digits.
Other forums say the E1 code is because the AC thinks a button is stuck or because it's dirty, but almost all of them say to use the remote and it'll work ok
Haier has a reputation for making a decent qualiy ye affordable A/C unit.
is a group of interested parts working as single unit
It depends on what you mean by "repaired." If you mean take the window motor apart and repair it, the answer is probably yes, but why? The effort and expense would far outweigh, just replacing the unit. If you just mean can a power window be fixed? Then the answer is yes. You need to find out what went bad, the motor, cable, or track assembly, and replace it.
Yes in a anderson flexivent window
The cause of you AC freezing up is not enough air flow over the coils. Iam not sure if you are tlaking about a window air conditioning unit or an outdoor unit. If it is a window unit your filter is plugged or there is something blocking the intake, this could be inside or outside. If it is an outdoor unit then your compressor fan may not be working, the unit may be sized too large or once again your filter needs changing or something is blocking the intake.
Not by yourself, and not a window unit at all.
You just want to make sure the drain is working so that the case doesn't fill with condensation.
Check the clip fron the window to the regulator. These will break off and you will hear the motor working but the window will not go up or down. You can replace your regulator and motor as one unit for little cost, if broken. You might get away with just replacing the clip to your window/regulator.
A unit of sound absorption for a surface, equivalent to 1 square foot (0.09290304 square meter) of perfectly absorbing surface. Also known as absorption unit; open window unit (OW unit); square-foot unit of absorption.
Is it a new or an old window unit? Assuming your looking to refill it I will assume it is an old window unit which most likely uses R-22 refrigerant. R-22 is an ozone depleting refrigerant that is being phased out but should be available until 2010. There should be a label on the window unit stating which refrigerant is used.
I do believe that 91 and 94 are the same procedure. have to remove the door handle and the window handle. there is a clip that holds the window handle. There are three screws that hold the unit (window regulator)in place. You will have to get the window up and out of the carrier and, pull the unit out. put the new unit in and, place the window in the carrier but, make sure the window is at the full closed position (that is where you need another set of hands) then, you tighten up the screw in the unit. The window is seated at the full closed position therefore when you tighten the unit up is wont twist. when I got someone else to replace the window regulator they had that window in the down position and the new regulator lasted about 2 weeks and then broke again... thanks mr mechanic....grin
