The Bible is comprised of 66 books, Genesis - Revelation. Of these books there are 39 Old Testament books, Genesis - Malachi , and 27 New Testament books, Matthew-Revelation . The Old Testament is made up five books called The Pentateuch, or The Books of the Law, Genesis - Deuteronomy, twelve books called The Books of History, Joshua - Esther, six books called The Books of Poetry, Job - Song of Solomon, and Lamentations, and The Books of Prophecy, Isaiah and Jeremiah, and Ezekiel - Malachi. Of the Books of Prophecy, each book is named after the prophet which the book is about. Isaiah - Daniel are called the "major prophets" because they are the longest books of prophecy, and Hosea - Malachi are called the "minor prophets" because they are the shortest books of prophecy.

∙ 12y agoThe Bible consists of 66 books that have many chapters. In those chapters are many many verses, but of course you wouldn't sing the Bible (except for in the book of Psalms). Verses consist of 1 to probably 6 sentences.
