People are people first and are generally unaffected by labels like Buddhist, Christian, Pastafarian. In their spare time people play with their children, paint, sing, chat with friends, grow flowers, cook, have parties, nap, read, think - the same as you.

Answer:

Buddhism might impact your whole life but it doesn't stop you from having a whole life. Buddhists work, play, raise kids, mow their lawns and weed their gardens, attend PTA meetings, run marathons, get married. clean their homes - in short anything that any other person in their community does, Buddhist, secular or theist.

Buddism is 'now-ness' and a Buddhist practioner/cultivator is mindful of doing good, avoiding evil and purifying the mind at all times. Buddism is mind culture where we train the mind to perfection, to look inward in order to understand the true nature of things. When we have perfected the mind we are enlightened; we are liberated and free from samsara(a sate of mind that is polluted with sufferings); we have return to the source, our Trua Nature/ True Mind. Buddhist do not believe to live for one day, one year, one life time but many, many life times until enlightenment is attained.

It depends on what you mean by "believe in". There are certainly spiritual tales that Buddhists believe in as well as the story of the Buddha himself. What days do Buddhists medtitate or worship?

Some Buddhists meditate all day every day (the monks living in the forest, mainly found in china do that). Others meditate twice a day, once in the morning and once in the night and on full moons. Some meditate only once a day, and some only meditate when they have time to do so. But it is really not specific, but most buddhists try to always meditate on the night of a full moon. And the meditation is worship.
