It depends on the nature of the duck, if you can see someone coming that you don't want to talk to and you sneak into the building next to the store you and he were shopping at, that looks like a duck. If you squat real quickly to avoid being punched this looks very much like a duck. The important thing to remember is that if it looks like a duck, it talks like a duck, and dances the lambada like a duck, make friends with it and convince it to become partners with you and travel the country showcasing the duck at county fairs.

A good question.

The only way to tell is to 'candle' the egg. To do this, go into a dark room with the egg and a flashlight. turn the flashlight on. Make a circle with your forefinger and thumb around the flashlight's head, and set the egg down in it, directly on top of the light. The flashlight should shine through, and you can see directly into the egg. At about 5 - 7 days old, a fertilized egg should have something that looks like a bean in it--this is the baby duckling, or embryo. If it is infertile, it will be completely clear.

they are sometimes a yellow-y-white chicken egg shape and sized egg. They might be a little smaller than a normal eating egg but usually the same size. other colors can vary to the yellowish white to a very light green-white.
