The Hot Fuel Module runs the fuel pump for seven to eleven seconds when the fuel is hot, flushing cool fuel into the fuel system to clear vapor bubbles and improve hot starting.
I think it's a Chevy Nova.....
American Hot Rod - 2004 '54 Corvette and '55 Chevy Part 2 4-2 was released on: USA: 2006
Sometimes an ignition coils will break down under heat and not fire properly. Start there and see if it helps. Billy
I assume you mean people who lubricate automobiles with grease . . . ? The '57 Chevy was pretty hot, then.
As an owner of a 99 Chevy venture let me give you some tips( get rid of it) but really the problems you describe are more than likely not related. Chevy ventures are known to have brake lamp socket issues,in which the sockets get hot and burn up plus bulb manufacturers cant seem to make a bulb last for more than six months at a time hence if you have a bulb that is bad or a bad socket it will cause the abs lamp to come on indicating a problem with the braking system or a burned out lamp/bad socket. The fuel gage is more than likely a bad sending unit in the tank (very expensive fix for what it does)..and if the door lock button doesnt work it is more than likely a bad switch or it has gotten wet and has corroded from a window being left down and getting rained in ect ect...try exersising the button a bunch of times to see if you can get it to work otherwise i would order a new switch from the dealer...Hope this has helped you out I truly hate my venture van and thought i was the only one who got a lemmon...FYI the extended warranty i had on my van has paid out over 8,000 dollars in repairs to the local Chevy dealership here for my 99 Chevy venture.. for brake sockets,tie-rods,ABS motor pack, transmission problems, intake gaskets, fuel pumps, etc etc I could go on and on.good luck
does 5.7egnine have a fuel presser regulateer on 97 chevy 1500 epress van
You need to check the ignition coil, It could be getting hot. There is also a pick-up coil inside of the distributor that could be shuting down when it gets hot, that is what the module plugs into on the distributor. If this don't help you then ask your question again.
the two most common no start when hot causes are fuel pump in your fuel tank and loss of spark ignition module
I would suspect a failing ignition control module.
It needs replaced. I have read some TEC. sheets and Chevy now says to keep the fuel tank at least 1/2 full at all times are the fuel pump will get hot. A bad fuel filter will also cause the pump to get HOT and quit.
I had the same problem in my 94 Chevy diesel z-71 pickup, I finally had it towed and they replaced the injector pump module, not the entire pump. Maybe this will help you, unless your pump is totally fried.
In a 91 it is behind (and under) the glove box under the ECM far right single clip holding it in place.. single 3 wire harness goes to it.
hot wire
For increasing of reaction rate and decreasing of coke and full fuel consumption
sounds like the ignition module is failing in the heat.
THE # 1 IS
what color wire is the hot
