facing mecca
al aqsa in jerusalemAnswer BIi is a mosque in Medina (Saudi Arabia) called Zu Alkibltein Mosque (a Mosque of Two qiblats).
It is called Qibla or Mihrab
The Qibla is in the direction of Kaaba that is surrounded by the Grand Mosque (or Almasjid Alharam) that is located in Makkah (or Mecca) in Saudi Arabia. So, its direction depends on where you are located.
Qiblah mean "Direction" The qiblah wall, called mihrab is a wall found in most Mosques that face the same way as Kaaba in Mecca. This direction is called Qiblah. It is the proper direction to face during prayer during salah...it symbolizes the unity in purpose of Muslims worldwide. There are also no animals or pictures on these walls to prevent idol worship.
The qibla wall is a wall in a mosque which is usually beautifully decorated. It is also called a prayer wall. The wall is used because it faces Mecca, which is the birth place of the Islamics main prophet Mohamed. I feel smart......
Mecca is associated to Islam. It's the Holiest city of Islam & Al-Masjd Al-haram (The Sacred Mosque) of Mecca is the Holiest Mosque in Islam. In this Mosque Al-Ka'aba is located which is the Qibla that Muslims must face when praying to God. Also, Muhammad, peace be upon Him,the prophet of Islam was born in Mecca.
Qibla Cola was created in 2003.

I believe your talking about the Kaab'a in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Islam does not have a specific building but rather we face towards a building the kaab'a. The kaab'a is also known as Qibla which means direction. The Qibla is simply a direction the Muslims face towards when delivering there 5 daily prayers. If we did not have a specific place to face, there would be disagreements between people and possibly cause conflict. Muslims also belive Masjid Al Nabwi (The prophet Muhamed's P.b.u.h's Mosque) and Masjid Al Aqsa (mosque in Israel)
Saheb Qibla Fultali died on 2008-01-16.
