First, ask HER what she wants. If she says something in your price range then get it because she won't lie to you about what she wants. Perhaps, give her money or a gift card to Wal-Mart or her favorite store so she gets to pick exactly what she wants and you won't feel bad for getting her something she hates.

I'm turning twelve in a few days and I want an iPhone 4S, a computer, Sims 3, a purse maybe and clothes. Gift cards are good but don't give her just gift cards because there is no thought there. It's smarter to think and find something she would really like. If she's your daughter you should know what she likes.
