The AIR FORCE Junior ROTC program at Palm Springs High School (California) earned the Outstanding Unit Award in 2010 and the Distinguished Unit Award with Merit in 2011. The Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI) earned the Outstanding Instructor Award in 2011. The Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI) earned the Outstanding Instructor Award with Merit in 2011.
