What does aunt Alexandria forbid scout to do?
Whether Calpurnia should work there anymore considering she was African American and almost and equivalent of a mother to the children. Atticus stood against his sister and stood up for Calpurnia. Aunt Alexandria also wants Scout to act more like a lady, which Scout and Atticus both know she wont be willing to do.
She says that Walter is "trash" basically because he comes from a low-income family. Alexandra doesn't want scout playing with Walter Cunningham because he doesn't have very much money and doesn't want scout acting or playing how he does. She says that Walter is "Trash" and Scout shouldn't be hanging out with him.
Aunt Alexandra forbids Scout from inviting Walter Cunningham to their house and tells her "'Don't be silly, Jean Louise,' said Aunt Alexandra. 'The thing is, you can scrub Walter Cunningham till her shines, you can put him in shoes and a new suit, but he'll never be like Jem. Besides, there's a drinking streak in that family a mile wide. Finch women aren't interested in that sort of people.'"
Scout used to think that Aunt Alexandra was a snob who only cared about the family name, but as the story continues, Scout grows to appreciate Aunt Alexandra. After, hearing how much Aunt Alexandra actually loves and cares fro Atticus, and how she was actually defending him, Scout begins to think that Aunty may not be as bad as she though!
Aunt Alexandra is so diappointed because Scout is not being a southern lady and is a tom boy. She is also disappointed in Jem and Scout because they fight and dont also act like their brother and sister.
