The 1993 Ford Probe rear brake light lens cannot be removed. The tail light are a complete seal light. The light bulb's can be removed from the rear of the light assembly.
It may be because you are braking.
If the red " BRAKE " light comes on in your dash , either the parking / emergency brake is on or the BRAKE FLUID LEVEL in the brake master cylinder ( in the engine compartment of a Ford Explorer ) is LOW
If you mean the " BRAKE " light in your dash it's just under the " 0 " on your tachometer
The brake light switch is located under the dash. It is connected to the upper arm on the Brake pedal
Most brake light switches are mounted to the brake pedal up towards the dash board
