DOn't worry, it's not unusual on early / late days of the cycle, but if you feel there is anything unusual, the best idea is to go to a family planning / sexual health clinic because they are there to allay your fears and it's never worth sitting at home worrying. It's always a good idea to use it as an opportunity to get checked for other things too and just to put your mind at rest. Blood color indicates what is going on with the blood. Red blood has oxygen in it and blue blood has more carbon dioxide in it then oxygen. Brown indicates that the blood cells have quit being active or have died.
