∙ 14y agoGenerally, dogs whimper or whine when they are in some level of discomfort or distress. It could be just a mild and temporary condition, such as hunger, needing to go outside to urinate or defecate, loneliness, tiredness, etc. If the dog has access to food, water, a place to do its business, has play mates, and still whines, you should suspect an underlying condition. If the dog whines for 48 hours, take the dog to a veterinarian without further delay.

the problem is that your it hurts your dog to be so overweight so he whimpers because i hurts and he shakes because of all the extra weight. what you need to do id to put your dog on a diet, if you feed him from the table that has got to stop and never start again, start taking him on walks daily for one hour at least and if you dont have time and you have a treadmill you can put your dog on a leash and lead your dog to walk on it.
