Seriously ill: most likely a cold or wet tail (both of which can kill a little hamster if left untreated). Go take it to a vet ASAP. They can give medicine to put into the hamsters water.
You do not want to put your hamster in water, it could drown. To give a hamster a ''bath'' you can use a barely damp wash cloth and stroke it down it's body.
You can tell if a hamster is obese when it is quite larger than other hamsters of it's kind. also when they are lazy and can barely run or walk on their paws.
REM sleep is, if any, barely affected by drinking.
she's probably dead, or just ignoring you
Your hamster may be sick or possible dying. If he moves a bit then take him to the veterinarian immediately but if it doesn't move, then I'm very sorry to say that he's gone... Good Luck!
it might mean that it is either sick or even dying but be sure to not disturb it as much or you will just make it stressed out or it might even bite you.
Yes, a hamster does have a threat, it is it's back, it you touch it, it may jerk away or try to bite you it is only natural to do so. you could try to get it less sensitive there by touching it VERY, VERY, softly, barely even touching it. But anyways, hamsters are great pets!
probably sleeping if you try to pickit up and he/she starts moving he/she was probably just sleeping, but if he/she didnt respond when you picked him/her up and you cant feel their heartbeat it probably means they are deadI'm sorry but your hamster is dying, call your local vet right away. By the time you get this answer your hamster has probably passed away
carbon nitrogen hydrogen oxygen
you barely got any water that was fresh and purified. you could have gone thirsty for days. it was very hard.
Rats require more excersize than a hamster cage will allow for. They like to run and investigate and play so give them room to do so. Many hamster cages are barely big enough for hamsters let alone a rat. Look for cages that are open (not aquariums) for air circulation and that have tight enough metal bands so that a rat can not get its head caught in the wall of the cage.
Well bud the same thing is happening to my hamster.... And sad to say... If you have had him for a couple of years... These my be his last hours... Make them pleasurable... But if not... He may just be sick... Take him to a vet and see what they say
