LIGHT)IS ON,IT USUALLY INDICATES: LOW FLUID IN THE MASTER CYLINDER,(DUE TO LEAKS,OR WORN BRAKE PADS/SHOES) THE EMERGENCY BRAKE IS APPLIED, OR A MASTER CYLINDER BYPASSING INTERNALLY. I'D SUGGEST GOING TO A SHOP THAT OFFERS A FREE BRAKE INSPECTION.LEAKS OR WORN FRICTION MATERIAL(SHOES/PADS) WILL BE FAIRLY OBVIOUS. BUT BE SURE TO GET MORE THEN ONE PRICE QUOTE IF THEY DO FIND A PROBLEM.DIFFERANT SHOPS,CHARGE DIFFERANT PRICES,FOR THE EXACT SAME REPAIR.
