It means that you are diabetic or are pregnant.

Or...It could mean a lot of things. If you're a man, you could have BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia) which is an enlargement of the prostate which puts pressure on the bladder. It's also possible that an enlarged prostate could be caused by cancer. You could also have some blockage in the urethra which is preventing the bladder from emptying completely, or you could simply have an "overactive bladder" which seems to be a catch all for a number of symptoms similar to the ones you describe. Many of these issues can be treated with medications, but the most important thing is to see a doctor so that you can rule out any of the more serious possibilities, such as prostate cancer. Good luck.

Diabetics are very thirsty so that it can't be since she says she does not drink more. Most likely is it a urinary infection. See a doctor for antibiotics.

This could be several things. First, if you are late-term pregnant, a gravid uterus puts a lot of pressure on the urinary bladder, which tends to cause you to need to urinate less volume but more frequently. Second, it may be a sign of Diabetes or other metabolic disease - diabetes in particular is characterized by increased urination (although it typically also has increased fluid consumption as well). Third, you may have a bladder infection - the irritation of the infection can cause you to feel like you need to urinate more often as well.

It could mean a lot of different things, depending on specifics...if you wake up in the night to use the bathroom, it could be a sign of the on-set of diabetes. If you're a woman and experiencing frequent and sometimes painful urination but with little volume, it could mean a yeast or urinary tract infection (yogurt from the health food store with live acidophilus cultures and drinking cranberry juice and water can help with this). It could be a sign of infection in a man as well. If it does not clear up over a period of time (a week or so)the best thing to do is check with your health practitioner.
