You didn't say if your cat was a male or female and if it was an indoor or outdoor cat. Some people let their cats out during the day and bring them in at night, while others keep their cats indoors. If there are other cats around (pets) and they are fighting for turf then spray them with cold water. Use a clean spray bottle with cold water. They get the drift very quickly. If your cat is outside then it's normal for even females to be territorial just as dogs will protect their turf around the outside of the house and the house. There isn't much you can do about it. If you see your cat fighting with another cat close to the house then either turn the hose on them or spray them with that cold water. I know, because I lived up North where cat fights kept people awake and that's the only way any of us could break these vicious fights up.
Dogs will not eat cats or usually will not attack them. They only chase cats because it is their instinct to chase things smaller then themselves. Some dogs will kill cats as well as chickens, rabbits, squirrels and any number of smaller animals. Breeds that are more closely related to their origins can still have strong prey instincts. It is the responsibility of the dogs owner to keep these dogs from getting into situations where they might kill other animals.
I'm going to assume that you meant, "what do I do when my cat is attacked by another cat?" This happens to our cat quite frequently. Now, if you believe that your cat started the fight, you should make sure he is fixed (neutered or spayed.) Try to keep him inside, but in the end, there isn't really anything you can do except take care of his wounds.
Bites and scratches from cats should be treated as soon as possible with antiseptic and water. Pregnant women, in particular, need to be careful as cat bites and scraatches can transmit toxoplasmosis (even though they may not show any symptoms) which can cause birth defects.
A cat attacks another cat either because they are playing, or they just don't get along. Try introducing the cats to each other slowly before you let them play with each other. And if you hear the cats hissing, better get them out! =)
Make super loud annoying and clanging noises to scare off the attacking cat. If your cat also runs away, stop the noise and call your cat. Take your cat to the vet to ensure there are no injuries, even if it doesn't look like your cat is injured. Most cats hide their injures.
if another cat bites a cat it will get infected if dirt and germs get into it that's why you should treat the cat bite right away if your cat is an outdoor cat treat it right away and try to keep the cat inside as much as possible.
Yes, they can. Tigers and lions do so. However, it is less likely for house cats to do that.
You could try spraying them with water but you could also try a product called "Shake-Away" Just search in on Google for more information.

It is impossible to cross a cat with a dog. The genes and chromosomes are incompatible.
some dogs will bark at cats but most also attack
If a dog attacks a cat, the housing association wouldn't be involved anyway to my knowledge. if you are allowed dogs in your home that would be ok, but if not you may be lookin elsewhere to live if your dog isn't suppose to be there. Dog catches cat: well everyone know the outcome to that one, well if the cat gets caught its dead. it nature...it like if a cat catches a bird.etc... we all need to look at a dog perspective here and not a human one, animals are territorial, and will protect their personal space. You are either the prey and the predator... i do not think there is any laws against this really, if a dog attacks a human , there are laws then i see many urban foxes around where i live and they have attacked cats during the night with no remains. hope this has helped xx

You have to let them fight it out. Eventually they will stop. But if the other dog attacks the other dog and a scratch happens and a drop of blood happens you have to stop it immediately.
well maybe the dog in your cat did not ge along in never leave your cat out side when u know the dog dnt like your cat
This is surley impossible as dog and cat are a different Genis and different species not allowing them to reproduce.
