It probably means that he had interest in you to begin with but also liked another girl more, and asked her out first, got rejected, then tried to talk to you.

To have treated someone with contempt, or to have treated others as though they were unworthy of your attention. To have rejected someone with scorn.

Does the narcissist discard you permanently if he believes you cheated on him?

I have a former friend who is an insecure narcissist. Because he treated his wife so poorly, she cheated on him with someone who could provide her with the emotional support that he withheld from her. Upon learning that she cheated on him, he rejected her. Later though, he begged and pleaded for her to return to him. Luckily for her, she did no such thing. And why would she after the horrible things he said to her?

How do you get your friend to like like you?

Ah, the classic "I fell in love with my best friend". I'v egone through it and most peopel have at least felt a twinge of curiosuity towards a relationship with their close friend. I myself have felt this on multiple occasions and am currently suffering from being head over heels for a certain friend of mine. All I can tell you is this; admit your feelings. If your friend is really you friend tehy won't reject you and you may find that have felt the same way about you as well! Pros: You may snag the guy/girl of your dreams Cons: Your friend may reject yoyu completely (either laughing in your face or not wanting to be with you), not feel the same, or have feelinsg for someone else. You may also lose yoru friend, so tread carefully! In the end though admitting is the best thing to do. I did and did not get rejected, though currently my crush is dating someone else so I'll wait it out. Besides, if you can't MAKE someone love you. It's against free will and isn't morally sound, and if you do truly care for them let them go.
