What does it mean when a guy is being mean to a girl but not on purpose?

You have to decide something here for yourself: Is it more of a "teasy" kind of mean? If so, he probably likes you, but he has zero social skills - a garden variety jerk. If,on the other hand, you would honestly describe him as being truly mean to you, that is bullying, and it needs to be reported to the school administration, or your parents.

It might mean that the guy has feelings over the girl, but somehow he doesn't know how to express it. He might be rude , tell them to move to stop bothering him when in reality he wants more attention towards her.

In the other hand he might not want you, in his life I'm sorry but guys are jerks at times.

Well it all depends on several things like...

1) Are you a guy or a girl

2) What grade are you in

If your a guy

If your a guy it could mean that this girl may like you but this is also why I said it matters what grade you are in. If your in say the 6th grade there is more of a chance that the girl my like you but if you are in the 8th grade there is less of a chance that the girl my like you. Girls at different ages shows their affection in different ways at different ages. If the harassment gets worst you should talk to the girl or maybe some friends to see what is going on.

If your a girl

If your a girl this could mean that the girl may be jealous of you. Unlike boys, girls are very catty. They don't get over things fast, they are very protective of who they like, and things like that. If you are dating someone you might want to see if there is any connection to who you are going out with to the girl who is being mean to you. This girl may like the guy that you are dating. If so, it would be best to talk to someone such as your mom or friends. If the harassment gets really bad go to a councilor! I no that it sound corny but I promise that it does help!
