if you have good spark coming from the coil but its not getting to the plugs then the only possibilities are either the spark plug wires or the distributor cap and rotor. gm tech 10 years
coil, distributor, distributor cap, plugs, or wires.
Answer Just because your lights work, doesn't have anything to do with the power of your motor. You might want to check several things such as the spark plugs, are the old? If the plugs aren't old, are they gapped properly? Next look at your wires, how old are they? Usually spark plug wires are good for 5 years at most and if your pistons aren't getting good fire because your plugs and wires are old that could be a good part of your problem.
Could be plugs and wires (spark plugs) I had a mis-fire (only 3 cylinders running) and I replaced my spark plugs and wires, and it worked. I have a 2003 Dodge Neon SE. Cheers!
