You could just be shedding older blood. If you are actually bleeding then you might have been pregnant, if it just a brown discharge, it's most likely old blood that hadn't shed before. It can also be some cells from the lining of the uterus. or if you've had sex your cervix may have been lacerated (or other parts of your vagina for that matter). ∙ 14y agoIf you have a brown discharge at the end of your period, this typically is just dried/left over blood. It should stop within a few short days after your period. Which is why it's good to wear something like pantiliners, even when you're done with your period.
