Depends on what you mean by "randomly" met. Was it just like a glance, or did she catch your eye on purpose, or was she looking at you until you looked at her and thenshe looked away? If it was just a random glance then I wouldn't think anything of it. If she was looking at you on purpose, she probably likes you. Popularity really shouldn't be that big of an issue.
