he still thinks of her It is entirely possible that it is a habit and he doesn't even realize it unless it is brought to his attention. Perhaps it would help if you tell him in all honesty how you feel about this happening and work together to find a solution.

∙ 18y agohow do you know it's accident tell him that you don't call out your exes name and that rude tell him to have more respect for you he knows who he's talking to don't fall for that mess if it happens repeatedly then there's obviously more to the situation that meets the eye ask him does he still have feelings for her and if he says yeah then tell he needs to deal with his problem but not to call out her name to you anymore and that you don't like it. it depends on what your doing when he makes that mistake

∙ 14y agoHe calls you by the nickname because that is what he knows you by. I suppose he hasn't analyzed that you are now less "familiar" and could be addressed by your more "formal" name that every one else knows you by.
Yes that is just what he knows you by especially if you had a serious relationship i think he also want to show you that he still cares about you if it makes you feel uncomfortable tell him
