It means they are concerned about you. It means that they might be noticing some things your doing that they don't feel are right or that they think you might be going down the wrong path and want to try to help you see the right way to go they might also just want to be more involved in your life because they don't want to miss out on the little person that they have raised there are many reasons that parents show spurs of interest in their children THEY LOVE their children and want to know what they are doing and that they are OK and that they are making good decisions for themselves just a few possibilites hope this helps!!!

How do you get your parents to stop forcing you to do things you're uncomfortable with?

It depends on what things you mean. Communicate with your parents would be a good start. If you talk to them then maybe you will bond and start a relationship with them. They might not even know they are making you uncomfortable or how important certain things are for you. If what you mean are illegal things or things parents are not supposed to do to children, then you need to go to the police.

How do you get your parents to do what you want to do?

You don't get your parents to do what you want. They are your parents and there to make sure you grow up right and healthy. Children often want to do things that they don't know the consequences of their actions and it is up to your parents to make sure you don't do some of these things. Adults have lived longer, done things, and have seen things so they have the experience to know what could happen or what will happen. Just because you get an "idea" doesn't mean it is good or that you need it. Listen to your parents.
