Godzilla is a fictional monster from Japanese popular culture. Godzilla or Gojira 1st appeared in the 1954 Film by Ishiro Honda "Gojira". Its general appearance is that of some kind of therapod dinosaur but this was never the intension. It was supposed to be a Sea Monster of no real genus. Gojira is a mixure of 2 Japanese words.
