A 7.2V battery. I cannot remember the mAh. I think it's somewhere around 1000-1500 mAh
It uses a 7.2V NI-CD 400 mAh battery. If anyone knows how long to charge it, please say so. I have this airsoft gun too.
It would just last longer between charges.
You simply divide the MAH of your battery the MAH of your charger. For example my battery is 1500 MAH and my charger is 250 MAH. 1500/250=6 which means I have to charge my battery for six hours.
battery life is determined by the mAH on the battery. milliamps per hour. a good way to get an idea is the number on the battery is how many shots you should be able to get off.
8.4v 3600 mAh battery.
8.4v 1600 mah and 9.6v 2000 mah
I don't think you need specific battery's but the higher the volts the fated it will fire and the more mAh the longer it will last for, I would suggest 9.6 or 8.4 volts go for NI-MH battery's aswell.
This depends on the type of battery and the charger. Smart chargers are the easiest, as they tell you when it is done. If you don't have one, look at the instructions to see how long, or look at an online chart using your mAh and battery cells.

mAH stands for milliamp-hours. It is a measure of the power capacity of a battery. If a battery has a mAH rating of, say, 480mAH, it means the battery can supply 480 milliamps for one hour, or 960 milliamps for a half-hour, or 240 milliamps for two hours, etc.
Here is a quick tip, mAH stands for Milliamps. however many milliamps a battery is rated, that's about how many shots you should be able to get off on a full charge.
