Numb steering is where the steering feels disconnected from the road, which really doesn't matter unless you're a gearhead. Its where you can't feel what is going on at the tires"bumps, resistance in corners,ect" most gear heads don't like"numb steering"'because i want to know how my car is reacting to the road through the tires.. Steering numbness comes from dealers putting high profile comfortable eco tires and heavy Power Steering on there cars, which eliminates all feed back to the steering wheel and the driver.
