The word "ordered" can mean when something was purchased but has not yet arrived, or requested to be created, supplied, or delivered, such as "I ordered the toaster from the Sears website."

It can also mean the issuance of a command, like in the military, such as "I ordered the soldier to guard the door."

It can also mean for something to be in a logical sequence, such as a set of books that are ordered from 1 to 10.
