Stop in CPR means stop compressions and breaths.
Do not stop CPR to check for a pulse.
There is nothing in CPR that "PASS" stands for, that I am aware of.
Do not stop CPR to check for signs of life in Adult CPR. Continue CPR until help (EMS) arrives or someone takes over.

Resuscitation. CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
There are only 3 times when you can stop giving CPR. You can stop if the EMT's get there and tell you to step aside, you get a heartbeat, or you physically cannot do the skills of CPR anymore.

Once CPR is started for an adult, don't stop to check for signs of life. Continue CPR until EMS arrives to take over.

Signs of life check after the initial check for an adult has been eliminated. Once you start CPR on an adult, do not stop unless advanced medical takes over, an AED is available to hook up, the scene becomes unsafe and you need to move yourself and the patient, or the patient shows signs of life during the CPR process.
Epinephrine is not given during CPR by the layperson. Paramedics might push epinepherine via IV among other meds during CPR. CPR is not interrupted to push these drugs.
