If u wanna capture anything on the screen, i think the print screen button couldnot help u, press this button, u only get the full screen capture. So i recommend u try PCHand Screen Caputre. It could help u capture anything. Im using it, it is easy to use, even for a novice. I think it is pretty good. Hope it could help.

∙ 14y agoPRINT SCREEN Pressing this key will print an image of the entire screen to the clipboard, from which one can paste it to a word processing program as an image. In order to copy only the active window press ALT + Print Screen.

Then you can open a text editor like Microsoft Word and right-click your mouse in the text area, choose Paste from the resulting menu and your screen image will appear on the page. Then you can give the document a name and save it on your desktop. You can also send the document in an e-mail as an attachment.

∙ 13y agoYou Use of print screen is to capture all imagery on your screen. By simply pressing a button your computer will take a full resolution screen-shot of your screen and put it onto clipboard for later pasting.
Print Screen on different computers if different, on most laptops, besides the Print Screen button you also have to hold another button, usually an FN key (should be locates in one of the two bottom corners [Usually left])
But Most Desktop Computers just use the print screen.
Print screen can be used as an exploit in some games, because the fact that it freezes your screen to take a screen shot results in a loss of physics in some games, making you not fall yet still move forward, as if walking on an invisible floor.
Some games or applications override the default print screen, in that case usually it takes a screen-shot of only that application and instead of copying to clipboard just saves the file in a specified directory under some sort of options panel.
Print Screen might be simplified and may be Print Screen, Prnt Scn, Pnt Sn, Prt Sc, or Pt Sc.

∙ 11y agoThe 'print screen' function literally dumps an exact copy of whatever is being displayed on the monitor - to whatever printer is attached to the computer. It's quite useful if something keeps going wrong with a program - as you can dump the screen after each key-press until the fault occurs - then use the printouts to find a solution.
