∙ 13y agoThe RSPCA spend their profit on expensive barristers on prosecution cases, often paying a single barrister up to £3000 per day.
Contrary to popular opinion the RSPCA no longer take in abandoned or injured animals, they only home animals from what they now call "rescue" cases, these are often illegally seized animals (the RSPCA have no power under law to seize pets) that the RSPCA intend to prosecute.
