What does the Tiger Barb eat?
they eat flake food. They also take vegetables like lettuce chopped into tiny peices. They are very easy to keep but can be aggresive to other fish if not kept in groups.
No it will not. However, if there are 3 or more tiger barbs, then they might get the courage to nip at its fins. And i Highly advise you not to keep tiger barbs with goldfish because tiger barbs live in warm water (about 70-85 degrees). and gold fish live in colder water. The tiger barb would ultimately die.
The question shoud be 'Can a tiger barb live with a slider.' Fish are one of the main diet items of turtles so the barb will eventually become a meal for the turtle. If the turtle is small, he may not be able to eat the fish but he will nip at it and remove fins. Sooner or later the fish disappears.
Original answer - "i don't know but try this. put a dead fighting fish in a tank that has albino tiger barbs OR tiger barbs and see if the fish attack or eat the dead fish." I have an albino tiger barb, and through my research and experience I can almost guarantee that a fighting fish and an albino tiger barb will absolutely not do. Scientists don't know why tiger barbs have an unusual fin…

If the type of barb you have is a tiger barb then it is a semi aggressive fish which means you can only put it with other semi aggressive fish that are relatively the same size unless you have a bunch of them. The only barb I can think of that isnt semi aggressive is the cherry barb which can be put with any tropical fish like mollys, danios, tetras, platys, and guppies.
Abaco Barb Horses eat about anything that is avalible for them. They normally won't eat anything poisonous since it could kill. If they are in captivity, they will eat whatever we give them. Okay... an Abaco Barb is a horse, right? So it will eat the same as any other horse. All horse breeds eat the same things... grass, grain, plants, shrubs, hay etc.
