What does the fraction of 2 over 7 divided by the fraction of 4 over 9 equal?
to make a whole number into a fraction all you have to do is make it whatever the whole number is over one ex: 2 is your whole number, to make it a fraction simply put it over one. when you say it, you can say 2 over 1, 2 firsts, or 2 divided by 1. 2 divided by one does equal 2, your starting whole number.
4 over (or divided by) 18 is a fraction which is equal to 0.2... (where "..." indicates that the "2" is recurring; i.e. there are an infinite number of 2's after the decimal point). (Note: there is a special symbol to indicate that a digit is recurring but, as far as I am aware, it is not possible to use it on this website.)
Tricky tricky, but 74/ 90 can be reduced/ divided by 2 right? Because they are both EVEN numbers, 74 divided by 2 is 37 while 90 divided by 2 would equal 45 right? So now your fraction become 37/45- 27 and 45 cant be divided by the same numbers, aside from 1, so this becomes your answer! 37 over 45! Learned this in my 7th grade class! Hope this helps! ~PEACE
1/4 and 4/16. You can multiply (or divided) the numerator and denominator both by any number (except zero), and you will have a new fraction, which has equal value to the original (equivalent fraction). Think of it as just multiplying by 1, which is the Identity Property of multiplication. (x/x = 1 for all x, x not equal 0).
