Tussock moths eat will eat just about any plant it comes in contact with. One popular choice seems to be the fir tree. They also are drawn to eating the willow tree and apple trees.
The wings are a Grayish color and the body is orange with a row of black dots going down the middle of the back.
It is abount an inch long and has white fuzz.
The Jamba Ramba Caterpillar is a fuzzy yellow caterpillar with a black head and black tufts that look like spikes.
A monarch caterpillar will look for milk weed, once it finds one it will eat from it. That's how they get their poison. When they come out of their chrysalis they will fly around and every once in a while land on a milk eed and possibly spend a few minutes to a few hours on it. Monarch butterflies will eat milk weed too.

Because the caterpillar is an intermediate stage of the development. It will go through something called metamorphosis after which it will look like its parents. Think of the caterpillar like a sort of mobile egg, which doesn't look much like its parents either.
Caterpillar larvae look like segmented worms with almost invisible stubby legs.
They mate from end to end for about 30 mins
'Baby' butterflies look like, in order, a grain of rice, a caterpillar, a pupa, an imago, then an adult.
