A weaver is someone who makes cloth and rugs... that sort of thing. I knew a great lady in Wyoming who made custom rugs for a living, and made all the cloth from the angora rabbits that she raised. It was really cool to see her looms. Thus a weaver is one who weaves. A farmer is one who farms. A starter is someone or something that starts something. Notice that you'll rarely see two e's back-to-back when adding -er to a word, though sometimes you do, depending on the word.
