There are mental traumas, such as being in war, the stress of which can cause Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the trauma being that one had to kill and watch friends be killed or terribly injured.

∙ 14y agoTrauma is the pain that a person undergoes when he/ she gets injured physically or mentally. The bearable limit of trauma varies with person to person. When the trauma exceeds a limit it can induce the sense of commiting suicide in order to escape from the pain.
