There really are a lot of careers such as people the work in nuclear power plants, nuclear fusion research, reactor development etc. One common misconception is that all nuclear science deals with dangerous radioactive material. This is not the case however in fact most jobs within nuclear science do not deal directly with dangerous materials. Even if a job does deal directly with them, usually with all of the protective gear that you wear, your exposure rate while working would probably be less than a normal person in everyday life.
Hope this helps!! :)
There are many kinds of science and each requires areas of study. But for each a college education is needed.
I think a degree is nuclear physics should help.

a nuclear scientist earns between 70k to 150k
check out albert Einstein the scientist.
A scientist would probably be a physicist or a chemist, but engineers can also study energy, and designing heat engines would be an engineers job. A specialist in this field would be a thermodynamicist.
Nuclear plants are too heavy, because of the shielding required
The absolute minimal education required to become a scientist is a college education. Is many cases, a Master's degree or higher is necessary to become a scientist.
Research has shown that there is quite an extreme education required to become a nuclear medicine technologist. One must accomplish an associates or bachelor's degree in a Nuclear Medicine education program. It is often required to have certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as well.
a scientist should get the whole knowledge upto highest level of the field of science in which he wants to be a good scientist. i think the minimum level of a scientist is Ph.D in the required field.

If you include undergraduate education, it takes at least 8 years to become a medical scientist. There are also internships and residency programs that are required.
I have heard the atomic scientist term and read it in many documents.
