The effect's that Guru Nanak had on Sikhism is Huge. He was the one who created the religion of Sikhism. He travelled allot with his friends and told stories to the villages and what you should do. He would not eat with the higher cast because he only ate food of honest, hard work (The wealthy banker story). So basically the affects are big. He change what people think and do. So that's the answer! ;)
