It really depends on which acid you want to make since an acid is basically any chemical compound mixed with water to create a PH lower than 7.

Phosphoric Acid (H3PO4) is comprised of Hydrogen, Oxygen and Phosphorus.

Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) is comprised of Hydrogen and Chlorine.

There are far too many different acid types to go into, but there are lots of resources on the internet for whichever particular one you are looking for.

No element is an acid or a base.

  • acids are compounds with loosely bound hydrogen (H) atom(s) that separate in water forming ions.
  • bases are compounds with loosely bound hydroxyl (OH) group(s) that separate in water forming ions.
Even compounds that are acids or bases do not act acidic or basic unless mixed with water.

Now some elements (e.g. fluorine, chlorine, lithium, sodium) are so reactive by themselves that adding the element to water triggers a violent chemical reaction that produces the corresponding acid or base in the water (e.g. hydrofluoric acid HF, hydrochloric acid HCl, lithium hydroxide LiOH, sodium hydroxide NaOH or Lye also called Caustic Soda). But again even such elements are neither acids or bases.

Acids are made up of a hydrogen ion and another ion. The latter can be made up from a vast variety of elements. Common examples:

  • Chlorine (hydrochloric acid)
  • Nitrogen and oxygen (nitrous or nitric acids)
  • Carbon and oxygen (carbonic acid, acetic acid and lots of others).

All acids contain hydrogen and most, but not all, contain oxygen.

A few other elements found in common acids include nitrogen, carbon, sulfur, and chlorine.

Acids are not elements, they are compounds.

There are many different type of acid with different compositions.

What acids have in common though, is hydrogen.

All acids will have hydrogen but otherwise they can have almost any element (other than the noble gases).
