Best Answer

Carbon 6 and Carbon 7

I think this is mixing up atomic number (number of protons) and Atomic Mass number (number of protons + neutrons). All isotopes of carbon have atomic number 6. The 2 isotopes of carbon mentioned are carbon 12 and carbon 14.

Is titanium a natural or synthetic?

Tin is an element, meaning it's a natural substance composed entirely from one type of atom. You can find tin on the periodic table of elements under the symbol Sn, which is derived from the Latin name "stannum."

Provide the name of the element that would be extinct?

Artificial transuranics aside (some habe half-lives of 2.4 seconds) Five seconds-out! The only naturally occurring element to have become extinct in nature was Didymium, element No. 96. More prosaically it was reclassified as two separate elements Neodymium and Praseodymium, both (Rare Earths) Dysprosioum

Is teflon a mineral?

No. Teflon® is a trademark name for DuPont's line of synthesized (read: man-made) non-stick coatings based on a set of fluorocarbon resins. Minerals are naturally-occurring, typically inorganic (non-carbon based) compounds with a crystalline structure. They can be composed of one or more elements (gold vs. quartz, for example).

What elements are synthetic elements?

Sythetic elements are those with half lifes to small to be found in nature, they are manmade and generally fairly unstable. The synthetic elements are: All elements with atomic numbers 1 through 98 are naturally occurring at least in trace quantities, but the following elements are usually produced through synthesis. Except for francium, they were all discovered through synthesis before being found in nature.Element nameChemical SymbolAtomic NumberFirst definite discoveryTechnetiumTc431936PromethiumPm611945AstatineAt851940FranciumFr871939NeptuniumNp931940PlutoniumPu941940AmericiumAm951944CuriumCm961944BerkeliumBk971949CaliforniumCf981950 The following elements do not occur naturally on Earth.
