Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum
There are two types of Endoplasmic Reticulum:
1) Rough ER which has Ribosomes attached to it on the sides and walls. Giving it a "rough" look
2)Smooth ER which has no ribosomes. Giving it a "smooth" look
They have two different functions. A ribosome located by itself or in a small group in the cytosol synthesizes soluble cytoplasm proteins and most extrinsic membrane proteins.
Ribosomes in the rough endoplasmic reticulum produce proteins that will end up in the Golgi for export by vesicles. These include the digestive enzymes produced in the stomach and the protein hormones like insulin produced in the pancreas.
Its job is to convert stored information into protein molecules.
The answer is that endoplasmic reticulum are important because they help plants when breathing oxygen in the day. Also, plants get the energy they need.
no
Ribosomes can be attached to endoplasmic reticulum, and when ribosomes are attached, it is called rough endoplasmic reticulum.
what sometimes found attached to the endoplasmic reticulum ? and give me the full defenition
The rough endoplasmic reticulum has ribosomes attached to its surface, giving it a studded, "rough" appearance. Ribosomes are small organelles that manufacture proteins in a cell. Conversely, the smooth endoplasmic reticulum has no ribosomes attached to its surface.
Its called smooth Endoplasmic reticulum a.k.a Smooth ER
the ribosomes that are attached to it and it makes it a rough endoplasmic reticulum
Ribosomes are attached to rough endoplasmic reticulum.
Fixed ribosomes are attached to the endoplasmic reticulum. The ribosomes are organelles that are suspended in the cytosol which is bound to the endoplasmic reticulum.
Ribosomes attach to the Endoplasmic Reticulum forming Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum.

Rough endoplasmic reticulum have ribosomes (protein-producing structures) attached to them.

Bound ribosomes are found on the rough endoplasmic reticulum in a cell. Free ribosomes are found scattered throughout the cell.
