one of them is heliocase. it 'unzips' the DNA strand. You can always remember this because it's in a popular joke:
Q. Why is the enzyme heliocase a lot like a teenage boy?
A. They both want to unzip your jeans (genes) !!!!!
Many enzymes do but some are: DNA Helicase, DNA Polymerase, Topoisomerase, and there are quite a few more but i can't remember.

DNA Helicase
Gyrase (Topoisomerase)
Primase
DNA Polymerase
Ligase
The enzyme that catalyzes DNA replication is known as DNA polymerase. Helicase is another enzyme that is used in the process of DNA replication.
DNA Polymerase and Helicase
DNA polymerase 3 is needed for this step.
boss
helicase
It is called DNA ligase. Catalyzes the formation of a phosphodiester bond between a 3'-hydroxyl group and a 5'-phosphate group in DNA. This enzyme catalyzes the joining together of two single-stranded DNA segments which may be either parts of the same duplex or parts of different duplexes. This enzyme functions in DNA replication and in DNA repair by linking DNa fragments together. In biotechnology, is widely used the DNA ligase from bacteriophage T4 that catalyzes the formation of a phosphodiester bond between adjacent 3'-OH and 5'-P termini in DNA.
In DNA replication, DNA polymerase III is the enzyme which joins the DNA nucleotides together via phospodiester bonds.DNA Ligase is the enzyme that seals gaps in DNA during DNA Replication.DNA Ligase is the enzyme that seals gaps in DNA during DNA Replication.

Helicase
It's the DNA polymerase that catalyzes the formation of phosphodiester bonds between the nucleotides during replication.
Dna ligase -the enzyme which stitches them together into a single ,unfragmented daughter molecule is called dna ligas. Dna helicases-opening of the dna double helix ahead of the replication fork. Rna primase-synthesis of rna primers for dna chain elongation, the enzyme is a component of primosomes. Dna polymerase-dna replication is more accurately described as polymerization.the enzyme which catalyzes this polymerization is called, dna polymerase. Submit by anupriyachatterjee.
it is a linking enzyme essential for DNA replication; catalyzes the covalent bonding of the 3' end of one DNA fragment to the 5' end of another DNA fragment.
The enzyme DNA dependent DNA polymerase is essential for DNA replication
DNA ligase is the enzyme responsible for connecting the Okazaki fragments on the lagging strand during DNA replication. It catalyzes the formation of phosphodiester bonds to join the individual nucleotides together.
Helicase is an enzyme involved in DNA replication. It unwinds and unzips the parental DNA strand.

DNA Helicase is the major enzyme involved in the replication of DNA. The reason why it is so important is that it unwinds the DNA which creates two separate strands.
