The episode was called 'P.C.' The body of a 'Jane Doe' was found in an abandoned building beneath some graffiti that led them to the singer of a band called 'Vampyre Scarfyce' who is known to drink blood as part of his persona. This lead takes them no where and the story turns into a hate killing, the 'Jane Doe' is a member of a gay-lesbian activist group, who's leader is played by Kathy Griffith. The main focus of the episode is Kathy Griffith's character getting the SVU team up to speed on crimes against lesbians.
Law and Order CI did a vampire episode called 'Lost Children of the Blood'. The body of a college student is found completely drained of blood, which brings to light underground clubs, blood dealers, and a cult that believes they are immortal.
