simply cover a burning candle with a glass to cut off the air, then the candle will burn out
Fire needs CO2 to burn which is found in air
an experiment on pascal's law
Suggest a new hypothesis that could lead a different experiment
Depending on the size of your experiment, you can do it your self. If the project is small, like testing the strength of an egg, you can do it yourself, but if it's a survey or a bigger project that could take you a long time, you might want to bring on an extra person or two.......or three.
The results of a previous experiment are presented as an introduction to a new experiment.
An experiment is performed to generate more data. If the data proves to not support the hypothesis the experiment was still useful. You could reproduce your experiment to see if it is performing the way it should. After you have confirmed the experiment is performing correctly you then could devise another experiment to further test your hypothesis or accept the result and revise your hypothesis.
You could get it at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium in San Pedro, California.

It's not the air that's needed - it's the oxygen ! Life on Earth developed by relying on oxygen to sustain it. The 'air' could be made up of totally different components - so long as it contained about 20% oxygen.
He repeated John Needham's experiment in which nutrient fluids (Chicken broth) was put into a sealed flask then heated. The nutrient medium could be stored and microoganisms did not arise from it. This experiment disproved the Spontaneous Generation and paved the way for Pasteur's research. Spallanzani was largely criticised under claims that microorganisms needed oxygen to survive. He was also a pioneer in the fertilization an experiment which he produced with frogs. :) hope that helps.
Well . . . you know the problem was not caused by a bad catalytic converter. You could experiment with replacing your oxygen sensors, next . . .
How could you design an experiment to show how a fault is formed
an experiment on pascal's law
it could be ethier or depeding on the experiment
Suggest a new hypothesis that could lead a different experiment
Two reasons: your food could contaminate your experiment, and the experiment could contaminate your food.
Engelmann shone light of different colores (wavelengths) onto filaments of Spirogyra. Spirogyra is an alga made up of filaments (chains) of cells. He added motile bacteria (which could swim) and which needed oxygen and observed where they went. He found that the bacteria clustered around the blue and red colours of the spectrum, where the Spirogyra were producing the most oxygen. So he concluded that these two colours were the most important for photosynthesis. For an animation of his experiment see: http://www.phschool.com/science/biology_place/biocoach/photosynth/action.html See also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodor_Wilhelm_Engelmann
there is no oxygen on the moon, therefore, a fire could not start because in the fire triangle, (the materials needed to start a fire) the fire needs oxygen, which the moon does not have, fuel, and heat.
