Ice cream was a very popular desert in the 1700's and Washington is reported to have had 3 ice cream freezers installed at Mr. Vernon. Since he never lived in the White House ( it wasn't built) I would imagine that John Adams served ice cream at some point when he was president.

Ice cream was very popular in the 1700's and was eaten all the time. I am going to guess that it was served in the White House by John Adams since he was the first president to live there, and ice cream was a desert that was served all the time. Washington is reported to have had 3 ice cream freezers installed at Mt. Vernon.

Eating ice cream has been around for hundreds of years ( the Romans ate ice cream) and was very popular in the 1700's. It is reported that Washington had 3 ice cream freezers at Mt. Vernon and it was his favorite desert. Since the White House was not lived in until John Adams I will say that it is more than likely Adams served ice cream at some point during his term of office.

The first President of the United States, George Washington, was very fond of ice cream. The President didn't live in the White House until John Adams, and he brought ice cream in with him.

Did all the president life in the White House?

No, not all presidents have lived in the White House. The White House was first occupied by President John Adams in 1800, but some earlier presidents, such as George Washington and John Adams, did not live there as it was still under construction. Additionally, there have been presidents, like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, who served before the construction of the White House and therefore had different official residences during their presidencies.
