Look in specialty shops, baking shops, large or well-stocked grocery stores, and online.
Go to www.hardtofindgrocer.com
or www.crossroadsmarket.com they have it there.
you should check their website. duncan hines has a lot of cake mixes and frosting without milk.
it is currently being sold on Amazon and Ebay, believe it or not. I am living in Los Angeles and asked for the caramel icing on my birthday cake (today) and my daughter couldn't find it in any of the grocery stores. What a shame! It is Duncan Hines best flavor icing!
There is no patent on Duncan Hines cake mix.
Spread a thin layer of frosting onto the foil where you want coconut around the cake. Then sprinkle the coconut onto that layer of frosting. The coconut will hide the frosting as well as sticking to it.
if you mean other than baking, don't think so. they have brownies, muffins, cookies and different kinds of frosting.
well when the frosting starts to disapper it means that you are iceing the cake to soon the cake needs to cool for about 20min before iceing if you don't let it cool the frosting melts so i don't think it is the frosting that's the problem :)
It is safe to use Duncan Hines cake mixes for several months after it the best if used by date. The cake will likely bake up flatter than usual however.
London broil, fish, cake that has a coconut frosting. broil anything that you want browned on top.
Most types of cake have frosting, but there are types they do not.
Of course you can. Cake mix has an expiration date, but it means nothing. I once used a cake mix 2.5 years after expiration, and it was still great.
I would rather be covered in head to toe in cake frosting but not just any cake frosting I want to be covered in vanilla frosting my favorite yum!
when u frost a warm cake, the cake absorbs the icing making the icing soak into the cake which will make your cake nasty and stiff...
