Dextron 3 automatic Transmission Fluid. now known as domestic automatic transmission fluid. Yes it is a manual but they used the same stuff. It just lubricates the needle berrings.

I've been told that it can only be done at a Saturn dealership...

The 2006 Saturn Ion sedan with the 2.2 liter, 4-cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission has 140 horsepower at 5,600 rpm. It uses regular unleaded gas and has a 13 gallon fuel tank.

With manual 4 speed transmission, 94 mph. With automatic 3 speed transmission, 94 mph.

I have a 2000 passat 2.8 v6 wagon, and have owned a 1999 passat 2.8 v6 sedan. I have been told by VW service departments that the AUTO trans units are SEALED so you cannot add fluid! Not sure about manual trans.

All ZX2 transmissions are interchangeable. The 97 and up Ford Escort Sedan manual transmission will fit the manual transmission ZX2 with minor modification. There are 2 or 3 transmission to engine bolts that will not line up. The starter mounting holes on the Sedan transmission are the same except one is threaded. The threaded hole will need to be drilled out to accept the starter bolts from the ZX2. Everything else lines up and works fine. It is important to note that the gearing in the Sedan is different. The gearing is taller and spaced farther apart. You will lose acceleration and gain MPG. You cannot use the Sedan or any other Escort transmission if you have an automatic. The 4EAT (TC) transmission seems to be exclusive to the ZX2.

Transmissions do not use oil. They will use either automatic transmission fluid, or gear lube for manual transmissions. Without more information we cannot give you a real answer, other than you need to talk to a shop, and give them the full make, model and year.

To replace the clutch you must separate the engine and transmission. For a front wheel drive vehicle, separating the engine and transmission can only be accomplished by removing the engine.

If you are searching for best mileage sedan cars in India, then you will come to know about Volkswagen Virtus, which is recently revealed and expected to launch in a mid-2019. For India, the sedan will probably offer a 1.5 L turbocharged Diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Yes, in fact all Saturn ION's have timing chains

The exact same place you check the fluid level is where you add fluid. rear wheel drive (Sedan , Brogham)-- transmission tube and dipstick behind right rear cylinder head. front wheel drive (Eldorado) - side of left side cylinder head . Good luck

The 2002 Saturn sedan equipped with the 1.9L 4-cylinder (engine code '7') has an oil capacity of 4 quarts including the filter. The MP6 and MP7 automatic transmissions have a total fill of 7.4 quarts. Due to variants in models and engines the owners manual and or the vintage number of the vehicle must be read to ensure the correct information.

Power brakes are a standard feature of the 1997 Ford Escort Sedan. It has a 5-speed manual transmission, and can reach up to 110 horsepower.

Very bad idea. You either need a very deep billfold or a donor car. Sell this car and by one with a Manual. You will be money ahead.

The Honda Civic SI Sedan (the 2012 model) has a K24Z7 engine. It has an 11.0:1 compression and 2.4L 201 hp which produces around 170 lb-ft of torque. It is generally a 6-speed manual transmission.
